Malcolm Green Valuer of Antiques for TV

We are proud to announce that Malcolm Green will be taking part in a new TV programme! The programme covers the restoration of antiques in Britain, and some of the astonishing secrets these pieces contain. Malcolm will be bringing educational value to the show. As well as providing a different perspective of the trade than has ever been seen before. As a restorer, Malcolm is able to really get to the heart of the story. Using his familiarity with restoration, he is able to trace even the slightest of details.

It is unfortunate that the antiques trade is suffering now more than ever. This is partly due to the decreased interest in so-called “Brown furniture.” We hope to encourage more coverage of this issue in the future. As antiques covered from a historical perspective as opposed to being paraded around glamorized auctions, could cure the problem. This programme will provide key tips on how to really tell if an item is valuable, and will hopefully encourage more interest in the antiques trade as a whole.
